Jude Dodd

I trained in Homeopathy at the Welsh School of Homeopathy, qualifying in 2009, and have since also studied massage therapies with Gentle Touch Therapy Training College and Penny Price Aromatherapy.  I am a member of the Society of Homeopaths, the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists and the Guild of Holistic Therapists.  I am also a qualified teacher, and teach for Gentle Touch Therapy Training College.

As a practitioner I have taken part in two Homeopathy research trials, for the use of Homeopathy alongside usual care for Depression and for ADHD, both of which found positive outcomes.  During the pandemic I was also part of a group of Homeopaths who offered free homeopathic treatment to frontline NHS workers.

I have a particular interest in mental health and wellbeing, and the role of Complementary Therapies in assisting with trauma recovery.

As a member of the People's Health Alliance, I am committed to making Complementary Therapies accessible to everyone.  To this end, I offer a limited number of low-cost appointments to clients who would not otherwise be able to access them.

When I am not working as a therapist in Wakefield or Barnsley, I also teach Silat (Martial Arts) and Self Defence.
